Surah Al Ikhlas (at-Tawheed)


Surah Al Ikhlas (at-Tawheed) has 4 verses and was revealed in Makkah. According to saying of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), the person who recites this surah once will get reward equal to ten times the number of people who have believed in the Islamic teachings.

Reciting Surah Al Ikhlas provides uncountable rewards according to the sayings of Islam religion its recitation is equal to reciting one third of the full Holy Qur’an. The reciting person will have palaces built for him in Jannah by reciting surah al-Ikhlas 11 times. Reciting this surah once is a way of gathering God’s blessings for the reciting person and reciting twice will be rewarded with blessings showered upon the children of the reciting person.

Reciting thrice brings blessings on the entire family of the reciting person.

Qawwali

A form of Sufi attachment music, Qawwali is popular in Pakistan, India particularly in the Delhi, Hyderabad and other parts of northern India, Sindh and Punjab regions of Pakistan. More than 700 years old musical tradition Qawwali has also gained conventional popularity.

At first it was presented primarily at Sufi temples throughout in South Asia. Qawwali received global publicity by the exertion of the late Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, who was a great Pakistani singer.

A world-renowned Pakistani musician Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan was born in Faisalabad (October 13, 1948). He was primarily a Qawwali singer; he was measured as one of the supreme singers in six-octave vocal range.

Most of Qawwali singers are able to perform at a high level of intensity for several hours. There are many other famous Qawwali singers include Pakistan's Aziz Mian, Bahauddin Qutbuddin, Abida Parveen, Noor Jahan, Rahat Fateh Ali, Munni Begam, Amjad Sabri, and Abida Khanum and Sabri Brothers and Indian singers Asad Khan, Dr. Shruti Saxena.

Surah al-Fatihah


Tilawat Surah al-Fatihah (The Opening)



Surah al-Fatihah is both ‘Makki’ and ‘Madani’ i.e. and there are seven verses (chapter) in. It was exposed in both Makkah and Medina.  According to Majma’ul Bayan the Holy Prophet (PBUH) said that the person who recites this surah, he will get the incentive for reciting two thirds (2/3) of the whole Qur’an. He also will get the reward equivalent to what would be gained by giving charity to all the believing men and women in the world.
