A form of Sufi attachment music, Qawwali is popular in Pakistan, India particularly in the Delhi, Hyderabad and other parts of northern India, Sindh and Punjab regions of Pakistan. More than 700 years old musical tradition Qawwali has also gained conventional popularity.
Most of Qawwali singers are able to perform at a high level of intensity for several hours.
